Do We Need Pool Heating? This is a very difficult question to answer depending on your personal choice. Do I mind getting into cold water or not? As a guide pool heating is usually taken during the slightly cooler months of October to April although many guests who like the warmer water still take it in the summer months.It really is a personal decision. Are There Pool Towels ? Pool towels are provided. Please do not used the bathroom towels around the pool, the chemicals in the pool spoils them. [Top]
Do We Have To Wash The Towels? A final laundry wash is included in the cost of the rental. We do, however, expect guests to be reasonable and not leave piles and piles of used towels etc. Most guests just wash them as they use them, pretty much as you would at home. [Top]
When Is The Villa Cleaned ? Our Management company makes sure that AmazingDays is professionally cleaned throughout pending your arrival The bed linen and towels are freshly laundered and laid out ready for your use. How Far Ahead Do You Take Bookings ? We take bookings up to two years in advance for AmazingDays. Do You Require A Booking Deposit? Yes, like all owners, we require a non refundable Booking Deposit/Security Bond to be returned with your booking forms and documentation, we also need acceptance of our booking terms before we can confirm your booking. The booking Deposit/Security Bond is payable when you are in full agreement with our booking terms.Once this is paid the booking is confirmed .This Deposit acts firstly as a booking deposit, which is non-refundable and then once the agreed rental balance is paid it becomes a security Deposit/ Bond which is returned to you approximately 2 weeks after you vacate AmazingDays Villa. What Is A Security Deposit / Bond ? When Is The Final Balance Due ? Villa Rental Prices Vary Quite A Lot? Yes they do, you will be offered Villas in Florida cheaper than the rental you will have to pay for AmazingDays. However, our villa represents amazing value. No expense has been spared to ensure that this is A “Premier” Villa.As you will appreciate to do this the running costs are very high. This is not a cut price Villa , no corners have been cut to ensure this warrants a 5 star Rating.Some of the cheaper Villas have cut corners with villa maintenance and furnishings, they do not have the luxury upgrades, and some booked through travel agents are on a “allocation on arrival basis”. Is The Villa Air Conditioned? AmazingDays is fully air-conditioned throughout, and has ceiling fans in every room for your additional comfort. [Top]
Can We Adjust The Air-Conditioning Unit? The air-con is set between 72-74 degrees, this is the recommended temperature. It is usually slightly warmer upstairs.However if you need to change the settings this can be done by adjusting the digital setting on the box located on the upstairs landing wall. [Top]
What Entertainment Is Provided? The answer quite simply is plenty. In addition to the large Sony Flatscreen TV with Sony Sound Bar Entertainment System, there are 3 additional Flatscreen TV’s, 4 DVD/MP3 players, 2 multi function CD/Radio/Hi Fi system and the dual control PS3 and PS2(with games), Satellite TV/Music system on all the TV's, there is also a movie library. Is There A B-B-Q at the house? There is a gas B-B-Q. It can only be used in the garden. It CANNOT be used within the pool enclosure.It is unsafe to do so plus it is against Florida State Law. Guests are responsible for cleaning it themselves, so please leave it as you would wish to find it.If the gas runs out notify our management company and they will replace it, free of charge for you.Glassware should not be taken in the pool area for safety reasons.If any glass should get into the pool please contact our management company immediately. Are There Any Toiletries At The Property ? Most people prefer to bring their own and use the brands that they like so we provide a small pack which consists of small size guest soaps, toilet tissue/rolls, and a couple of small sachets of dishwasher powder, just to get you started. Are There Any Shops And Supermarkets Nearby? There are Two Publix supermarkets within a few minutes drive of the Villa, plus quite a few small convenience stores. When you exit ‘Lindfields’ , main entrance, you can turn either left or right and after a short distance you will see the Publix sign. There is also a Walmart Superstore which is open 24/7 close by. Turn left out of Lindfields onto the 192W, then take the 27 towards Clermont. You will see the store and the exit shortly after you join the 27.Other stores include Pizza Hut,Domino’s Pizza, Subway, 2 video stores, gas (petrol) stations, gift shops,a hair salon, a 7-11 store, a post office, a Sports bar plus many more. When Do We Put Out The Trash/Rubbish ? There is a folder at the Villa which gives local information, like when the trash is collected. There are two collections per week. It is usually collected Monday and Thursday morning, it is usually collected early in the morning. You can put it out the night before but the wildlife, such as raccoons, can get at it. Please DO NOT feed the raccoons. It is very bad for them plus they come looking in the trash bins for food and then empty most of it over the garden. The trash collectors will not pick it up so it will be left to you to clear it up! We have, unfortunately, had a few occasions where guests have arrived at the villa to find trash/rubbish spread all over the front garden. Not a very nice first impression! We do ask guests to try to dispose of as much trash as possible before they vacate the villa so if you are leaving at the weekend please try to use the Thursday collection. What Should I Do If There Are Any Problems ? Please contact our Management company. They will do what they can to help you resolve any problems. If anything is broken or isn’t working properly please give them a call. We do accept that the odd item will get broken and sometimes things breakdown, just like your own home.
